Using Minto

Wallets

Every Minto wallet is a real Solana wallet. Make a new one or import one you already use.

New wallets

Tap New wallet and Minto generates an ordinary Solana keypair on the spot. The private key is encrypted in memory the moment it's made (AES-256-GCM with its own key, wrapped by a master key) and never touches disk in plain text.

Importing a wallet

Already use Phantom, Solflare or solana-keygen? Choose Import wallet and paste the private key in either format:

• the base58 string Phantom and Solflare export, or
• the JSON byte array ([12,34,…]) from a keypair file. 32-byte seeds work too.

Minto checks the key is valid, encrypts it, and adds the wallet to your account. Anyone else holding that key can still move the funds, so only import wallets you control. A wallet can only be linked to one Minto account.

Multiple wallets

• Up to 10 wallets per account.
• Label them (“Main”, “Degen”, “Savings”) and pick a default.
• Choose which bots may trade from which wallet. A bot can only trade from wallets attached to it. Researchers never get a wallet.

Moving funds

Withdraw all

“Withdraw all” for SOL leaves just enough for the network fee. If the wallet still owns token accounts it also keeps the rent-exempt minimum. When you send your entire balance of a token, Minto closes that token account and returns its rent to you.

Address book and allowlist mode

Save addresses you use often. Turn on allowlist mode (off by default) and withdrawals can only go to allowlisted addresses. Newly allowlisted addresses have a 24 hour cooldown before first use. Adding one needs 2FA, and so does turning allowlist mode off.

Double check exchange deposits

Some exchanges need a memo or tag. If you send without it, the exchange may not credit you. When in doubt, send a small test first.

Exporting a private key

You can take any wallet to Phantom or Solflare. Because this is the most sensitive thing you can do, it has the most locks:

1. A fresh login: you re-enter your password within the last 5 minutes.
2. Your 2FA code (or your password if 2FA is off).
3. Type the wallet's label exactly, and tick the warning box.

The key is shown once, masked, with reveal and copy buttons, in both base58 and JSON byte-array formats (both import into Phantom and Solflare). Limit: 3 exports per wallet per 24 hours. Every export is logged. The response is never cached or logged.

Bridging

The Bridge moves funds between chains without leaving Minto. It covers 1,000+ coins and tokens on every major chain.

• Bridge in: pick any coin on any chain (BTC, ETH, USDT on Tron, BNB, TON…) and the Solana asset you want (SOL, USDC, USDT or any other supported Solana token). You get a deposit address and QR code. Send exactly the amount shown, and it lands in the Minto wallet you chose.
• Bridge out: pick a Solana asset your Minto wallet holds and any coin on any other chain. Enter the receiving address and Minto sends the deposit from your wallet for you. Needs your 2FA code, like a withdrawal.

Memos and tags

Some chains (XRP, XLM, EOS, TON on exchanges, and others) need a memo or destination tag. When a deposit address comes with one, Minto shows it in red: send it or your deposit can't be matched. When bridging out to an exchange account, paste the memo the exchange gives you.

Refunds

For bridge in, you can add a refund address on the source chain. If a swap can't complete, the funds are sent back there. For bridge out, refunds come back to the same Minto wallet.

Fees, rates and timing

• The quote shows the rate, the deposit and network fees, the minimum and maximum, and an estimated time. Fees are already inside the “you get” figure.
• Rates are floating: the final amount can move a little by the time your deposit confirms.
• Minto adds no fee of its own on bridges. Most bridges land in 10 to 60 minutes.
• Each order shows live status (waiting, confirming, exchanging, sending, done) right in Minto.

Cross-chain swaps are processed by our exchange partner. Fiat currencies aren't supported yet.
